Basic Requirements
Non-Canadian Applicants
We can only consider employment applications from people who meet all Canadian immigration laws. This means that non-Canadian applicants must attain Landed Immigrant status or receive a Canadian Work Permit. Please provide the appropriate proof of your eligibility to work in Canada with your application.
Minimum Age
Each Canadian province has its own minimum working age and conditions that we must adhere to. Our construction sites and safety risk areas have a minimum age of 18. Other non-safety sensitive areas have a minimum age of 15.
Educational Requirements
Educational requirements of each position vary depending on the position's occupational requirement and the needs of the company. Generally all candidates require a Grade 12 or a college awarded general equivalency diploma (e.g. college preparation, GED). A trade certification is also acceptable in place of a high school diploma.
English Communications Skills
Particularly in our safety sensitive construction areas, it is important that employees have a good command of the English language. In areas with less safety requirements, a lower level of English may be considered and will be evaluated on individual bases.
