Philosophy
Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) is a way of life that we believe should be inherent to every part of our operations. We acknowledge that our most important assets are the people who perform the work, and that production, quality, and cost-effectiveness can be achieved through the daily integration of loss control systems and processes.

Performance
In order to support our EHS program, safe work behaviours must be integrated daily into our best practices on our work sites and in our fabrication, warehousing, and administration facilities. Superior safety performance is attainable with the full commitment and diligent effort of each person within our organization. Workers must commit to their environment, health and safety responsibilities for the program to be effective. Off-the-job safety is also critical as it affects our most valuable on-the-job assets...our people.

System Objectives

• Implement loss control measures to provide a safe workplace to the people, equipment, materials, and the environment.
• Encourage a continuous improvement approach to EHS issues.
• Support the development of our workers through orientation, training, task instruction and equipment awareness, job task analysis, toolbox talks and field level risk assessments.
• Establish effective planning and risk analysis tools and control hazards.
• Provide a behavioural-based safety recognition program to support exemplary EHS performance.
• Standardize effective EHS communications within all levels of the organization.
